Matilda Bronwies in Microwave
This simple recipe is oh so chocolatey and can be made in an OTG, Microwave or AirFryer!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup maida (all-purpose flour)
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise (yes, mayonnaise)
  • 1/2 cup hot water + 1 tsp instant coffee
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup oil
  • 200g dark chocolate
  • 150ml milk

Procedure

In a bowl, mix all of the dry ingredients and whisk until uniform.
Add in the wet ingredients and whisk until smooth.
Pour into an 8x8 inch glass dish and microwave for 2.5-3 minutes until a knife inserted in the centre comes out clean.
Meanwhile, in a cup mix together chocolate and milk and microwave for 30s. whisk until smooth (keep microwaving in 30s increments).
Poke your brownie all over with a stick to create space for the chocolate sauce to enter.
Pour the chocolate sauce over the brownie evenly and set for 10-15 minutes to absorb. Cut and serve.

Bake in an OTG at 180C for 25 minutes

Bake in an AirFryer at 160C for 20-22 minutes
